Special Meeting Sunday 30th July 2017 at 7.30pm in Village Hall ALL WELCOME
Revised Motion: to change the GKRA constitution to allow the extension of the period of service of incumbent officers from the current maximum period of three successive years by an additional year, in the event of there being no new candidate for the role by the time of the AGM at the end of that period. If any new candidate(s) for the post step(s) forward by the time of the AGM, the incumbent officer would be obliged to step down. If there are no candidates for the post at the end of any such additional year, the term of the incumbent officer may be extended for a further year (and so on). Accordingly, terms of office shall remain at a maximum of three successive years of service, unless there are no candidates for the relevant post at the time of re-election.
We need attendance of more than just the committee, so come and join us for a glass of wine after this short meeting an opportunity to get involved or just see what GKRA does for you.
